What Are Anti-Wrinkle Injections?
Anti-wrinkle injections work by relaxing underlying muscles, softening fixed lines and wrinkles and preventing static lines from becoming established.
Anti-wrinkle treatments can be used to change the balance between facial muscle groups and can therefore be used to create lift, the so called non-surgical brow lift.
Anti-wrinkle treatments are used mainly to treat the upper portion of the face, most commonly the forehead, the frown and around the lateral eye which we call crow’s feet. We tend to use anti-wrinkle treatments on the muscles that screw the face up. This will give your face a fresher look. Are anti-wrinkle injections safe?
Anti-wrinkle injections are tried and tested with millions of treatments administered worldwide and they are a safe, non-invasive cosmetic procedure. There will always be some possible side effects that we will explain pre-treatment. Be aware that side effects can include minor bruising at the site of the injection.
Anti-clenching treatments and Teeth Grinding
Do you grind or clench your teeth or suffer from TMJ pain?
The anti-clenching/grinding treatments will reduce clenching and grinding and it will also help with any associated tension and headaches that you may be experiencing. It usually starts to work 4 days to 2 weeks after injection and can last 3 to 6 months. It can be liberating for the patient.
How does it work?
A small amount of anti-wrinkle treatment is placed directly into the masseter muscle (the large muscle that moves the jaw), the muscle is weakened enough to stop the involuntary grinding of the teeth and clenching of the jaw. This significantly relaxes the muscle and reduces the wear and tear on the teeth due to grinding.

Dermal lip fillers allow the shape, volume, plumping and profile of your lips to be perfected.

Reviving Skin Treatments
Profhilo:
A non-surgical skin treatment involving a hyaluronic gel injection that moisturises the skin stimulating 4 different types of collagens and elastin, anti-aging and hydrating effect. It remodels the skin to restore the skins firmness and health. Profhilo gives that subtle glow to help restore confidence in your skin.
Profhilo generally lasts 6 months when 2 treatments are given 1 month apart. Results are usually seen within 3-5 days, but results are most evident 4 weeks post the second treatment.
