Our Principal Dentists are Dr. Catherine Nestor and Dr. Riona Gorman.

Catherine and Riona both qualified from Trinity College, Dublin with a degree in Dentistry. They were awarded Trinity Exhibition Awards on entry to the University. They have studied at the highly acclaimed Harley Street and were awarded Certificates as Aesthetics Practitioners. They provide a full range of dental services in a professional and friendly environment. These include gum treatment, white restorations, crown & bridgework, veneers, gum shields and nightguards. They regularly treat patients with TMJ disorders and sleep apnoea. Merrion Road Dental provides the optimum environment for anxious patients. Both Catherine and Riona are very experienced in dealing with nervous patients. The team were recently awarded 2 awards at the Irish Dentistry awards 2016 including "Best Patient Care" and highly commended for their treatment of nervous dental patients.

Dr. Catherine Nestor BA, B.Dent.Sc.

Catherine has a highly enthusiastic approach to dental care. Catherine is a Member of the International Trauma Association, Irish Dental Association, and the Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. She has worked in private practice in both Ireland and the UK. Catherine is highly experienced in all aspects of general dentistry and has a special interest in periodontics. She is ideally qualified to understand and respond to the real needs of patients and makes nervous patients comfortable through her caring and calming manner.

Dr. Riona Gorman BA B.Dent.Sc MFDS RCS(Edi)

Riona graduated with honours from Trinity college Dublin, and after further study was granted membership of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Riona was a finalist in the sensodyne dentist of the year awards and recieved a highly commended award. Riona has a keen interest in anterior aesthetics and is a member of the Irish Dental Association and the Irish Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. She completed a years vocational training in a practice in Edinburgh before returning to Dublin to work for a number of years in private dentist practice expanding her knowledge and skills in all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in veneers, crowns and bridgework.
